Akshay Kumar launches Singh is Bling trailer!

Akshay Kumar has undoubtedly emerged as the comedy King of Bollywood in recent years and the quality of his content just seems to keep on getting better.

Thus there were high expectations from him when the trailer of his new movie Singh is Bling was launched and judging from the trailer, he would surely satisfy his fans this time too.

Singh is Bling marks the return of all things Punjabi. There’s Akshay Kumar in a turban, and he leaves no opportunity to break into a dance. There’s an ensemble cast of turbaned men of different shapes and sizes, there’s the signature bhangra background score, and the decibel levels are mostly higher than usual Hindi films.

Oh, wait, and there’s a lioness. Yes, a scene from the trailer reveals Kumar walking up a slop with a lioness on a leash. We’re quite surprised he was willing to take his love for animals to the next level, and we hope the dog from It’s Entertainment isn’t feeling left out.

Judging from the trailer the film seems to have been shot all over Punjab and seems to be a bunch of jokes patched together!

On the whole though, the “Singh Is Bliing” trailer shows that the film is made only for Akshay as it has all the elements that his fans expect from him, action, comedy and pure Masti. Also, the trailer ends with a glimpse of director Prabhudeva and Akshay’s dance performance.

Though we aren’t told much about the story in the three minute long trailer but as Singh is Bling releases on 2 October, let’s just hope this time too our beloved Aki does provide the masti that we have come to expect from him in recent years!
