Islamabad: On the directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif electricity connections of tube wells which were cut-off earlier on account of non-payment has been restored. Ministry of water and power in this regard has directed Qesco (Quetta Electric Supply Company) to execute this order. According to the ministry of water and power, Federal and Baluchistan government will negotiate the mode and terms of payment of dues. Ministry has issued directives to immediately restore the connections of tube wells. Even though insurgents blew up 3 towers of electricity transmission line on Friday, there is no electricity crisis. According to the spokesperson of the ministry of water and power, the province needs 1650 MW electricity. Affected areas are being provided electricity through the alternate system.
