Bollywood’s reigning Khans – Shah Rukh and Salman created a storm when it was announced that their upcoming big ticket films, ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ were slated to hit screens on the same day – Eid 2016.

Though Raees was expected to get a boost with its newly inducted flower from Pakistan, Mahira Khan nevertheless both the films were expected to undergo strong competition as both the stars have a cult following of their own around the world!

But in a turn of events, according to a report, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had a little chat, deciding that it was not wise to have films release on the same day, especially since have great respect for each other’s work and don’t consider the other as competition.

Salman Khan who has been releasing his films for quite a while on Eid has this time decided maybe it would be a little wiser to hold it up this time and release it on a different date next year. Thus his new Sultan would now be released on Diwali!

Ironically it was only two years ago that the two mega stars of Bollywood were on unspeakable terms having clashed in Salman Khan’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008 but now as it turns out, things have visibly cooled down between the two!
