Spot-fixer Nasir Jamshed banned for 10 years by PCB

Pakistani opener Nasir Jamshed has been banned for ten long years in a spot-fixing probe. He was found guilty of five breaches of the PCB’s anit-corruption code.

He will also not be eligible to hold any management roles in Pakistan cricket for life. The tainted cricketer was already serving a ban of one year for obstructing and non-cooperation with the PCB’s spot-fixing inquiry during the 2017 Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Nasir Jamshed now becomes the third Pakistani player banned for corruption in recent times as Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif are already serving their bans.
