Uday Hussein was the eldest son of Saddam Hussein. He was seen, for several years, as the likely successor to the father, but lost the place as heir apparent to his younger brother due to injuries sustained in an assassination attempt, increasingly erratic behavior, and his troubled relationship with the family.
He was killed in 2003, but before he died he had amassed a huge car collection, thought to number in the thousands. Some of them were seized and sold off and many of them were destroyed during the bombing of the city. Here are a few pictures of some of the cars found from this infamous collection:
