An earthquake of 7.7 magnitude jolted Islamabad along with parts of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa just seconds ago.

The earthquake was felt in the capital Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Chitral, Mardan and as far as Afghanistan and India.
The USGS said the quake was centered around 28 miles from Jarm, Afghanistan.

The quake spread panic among people and they rushed out of their homes, however; no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
