The Sad End of Ahmed Shehzad and a Welcome Relief for Pakistani Fans

Ahmed Shehzad is a retard not in the sense that he has some mental disability but he is lost in an illusion. When you see his antics while batting you get the sense that he is pretending to be a great batsman.

We all know that he copies Virat Kohli in the field and yet the stats between them are two worlds apart.

Ahmed Shehzad’s stats are terrible, to say the least- an average of 32.56 with a horrible strike rate of 72 in 81 matches. With these stats, Shehzad should hang himself in shame.

I will not mention Kohli’s stats here because a) it will be an insult to compare him with Ahmed Shehzad. And b) because I don’t want to further humiliate Mr. Shehzad.

What has been most frustrating for Pakistani cricket fans has been his selection in the team when nothing makes sense of it. It’s the greatest mystery on earth.

His selection in the t20 format is unthinkable. I would suggest whoever is responsible for his selection should be trialed for imprisonment or sent to Guantanamo Bay.

I know that’s going way too far but as a Pakistani cricket fanatic, it pains me to see his selfish batting time and again. And every time just before the team announcement, I hope of him not being selected but then I realized it’s impossible.

But not anymore, with the recent development of him testing positive for a prohibited substance; the banned substance is marijuana. And he could face up to a two-year ban.

Ahmed Shehzad’s name has not been officially mentioned in PCB’s tweet but according to sources, it is him.

If I was in charge of the Pakistan Cricket Board I would advise him to go to a mental hospital for a comprehensive checkup.

I am optimistic that this will finally be the end of Ahmed Shehzad.
